July, 10, 2008

The Chudovo plywood plant was established in 1990, and currently, the aggregate capacity of its three production lines is 100,000 cu m of plywood per year. Most of the output is exported, mainly to the Central Europe. Nearly one third of it is sold on the domestic market through distributors. The plywood is supplied mainly for the construction industry. The plant staff is about 590. Near the plywood facilities, a thin veneer plant provides jobs for approx. 70 people. Both plants undergo regular process upgrading which is confirmed by international ISO 9001 quality standards, environmental ISO 14001, and VTT and DIN Otto Graf certificates.
