A new timber plant to start in Tyumen region January, 22, 2010
One of the main clusters of Tyumen economy is timber industry. It was said during the opening of the timber processing plant in Zavodoukovsk city district by Vladimir Yakushev, Governor of Tyumen Region.
The sawmill plant Zagros was constructed in a year. The new production will provide the region with the most high-quality lumber. In future, there are some plans to construct new facilities for housing the shop and new department for plywood, which will allow more efficient usage of raw materials.
According to the official website of the Tyumen region, Vladimir Yakushev remarked that "it is planned to create in Zavodoukovsk a so-called closed production cycle, which will use even waste products, such as sawdust and shavings”.
With the help of the government "Zagros" plans to build a boiler, which will run on waste wood and heat not only production facilities but also the neighboring village Komsomolsky. "Today we need to use alternative fuels" quoted Vladimir Yakushev official site.
