The best PulPaper ever

January, 23, 2007

The international PulPaper exhibition and conference scheduled for 5–7 June 2007 will attract top professionals from the paper, board and pulp industries to Helsinki.

The event is being organized for the sixth time by Finnish Paper Engineers' Association in co-operation with Adforum and the Finnish Fair Corporation. The concept behind the event has been substantially revised to best meet the needs of both exhibition and conference participants. PulPaper 2007 conference programme under the theme Innovative and Sustainable Use of Forest Resources, has been extended to give paper and board converters and end-users plenty of time to present their ideas. Printing and publishing has now been allotted a session of its own. PulPaper also widens the perspective by highlighting new business opportunities. Another new feature is the international Prima conference (Paper & Related Industries Marketing Association), which will discuss the market dynamics behind pulp, paper and packaging. "At PulPaper 2007 the value chain will be completed, all the way to the final consumer", says Pirkko Molkentin-Matilainen, President of the Finnish Paper Engineers' Association and continues, "PulPaper 2007 gives participants a very ambitious overview of the business opportunities available in the forest-based industry in upcoming years, both for established products and in brand new business sectors. The structure of the conference has been streamlined to allow representatives of different interest groups to participate in the conference programme as much as possible. The half-day sessions on specific themes of current importance will ensure this". PulPaper 2007 exhibition will be the biggest global exhibition within the Pulp and Paper industry 2007.
