Nizhniy Novgorod Housed Lespromindustriya – 2008

The 6th specialized exhibition Lespromindustriya-2008 was held on the territory of Nizhniy Novgorod fair from 8 till 11 April 2008. Its aim was to demonstrate scientific and practical potential of Russian and foreign forestry industries, solidifying relations between research organizations, specialized companies and investors and introduction of innovation technologies into the production processes.

Visitors to the exhibition could appreciate the potential of Russian industrial companies and products of over 60 enterprises and firms from Nizhniy Novgorod and its region, Moscow and Moscow region, Yoshkar-Ola, Cheboksary, Kirov, Novosibirsk, Samara, Tver and its region, Belgorod, Vologda and Vladimir regions, as well as Germany and Finland.

A scientific and practical conference “Topical issues of forest industry and forestry of Nizhniy Novgorod region” was held within the framework of the event. During the conference, forest experts and businessmen considered issues in various topics including “Forestry”, “Woodworking”, “Summer cottage. Timber house” and “Forest chemistry. Production ecology.” Apart from this, some companies arranged their own events. Trade and service company Chetra-Industrial Machines demonstrated the products of Tractor Machines Concern. The company presented five models of harvesting and utility machines: Danish harvester Silvatec Sleipner, loader LT-188, MKSM-800, excavator-bulldozer LTZ-ALEX 1 Е and pavement cleaner VTZ-2048 А. The visitor appraised the advantages and specific features of the new equipment.
