The second RENEXPO® Central & South-East Europe 2008 - International trade fair and congress of renewable energy and energy efficient construction and renovation was again a success and exceeded not only the figures of the first event last year, but also expectations.
81 exhibitors from 7 countries introduced their products and services on a total of 2500m˛. Thereby the exhibition space from the previous year was practically doubled.
In total 3,600 visitors attended over the three trade fair days not only from Hungary, but also from other countries including: Austria, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia and Italy.
Almost all Hungarian renewable energy industrial unions as well as some from overseas were represented with their own stands. Highly ranged delegations from Austria, Romania and Slovakia visited the event and lead important discussions.
Not only trough the intensive marketing actions trade visitors and the general public attended. The trade fair was successful especially in this primary market-development stage and the exhibitors have been positively surprised.
Partner country Austria was represented especially strong: with a common exhibition stand organised by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and a total of 16 exhibitors, combining to make up almost 20% of the total exhibitors, which existed of some exhibitors from Germany and 3 from Romania.
In the framework of RENEXPO® Central & South-East Europe 6 conferences have been held: Austrian Energy Day, Biomass, Biogas, Energy Efficiency in Buildings, British Product Presenation and Geothermal Energy. In which approximately 500 key players and trade visitors took part.
Over 160 conference attendees took part at Austrian Energy Day, which was organised by the Austrian Energy Agency. Professionally highly appreciated was the Geothermal Conference, organised by the EGEC – European Geothermal Energy Council in Brussels. Over 170 experts attended the Hungarian Biogas Conference organised by the Hungarian Biogas Association. For the first time in Hungary British products from the renewable energy sector were presented through Ener-G Powerboss and the Five Forest Group.
The next RENEXPO® Central & South-East Europe takes place on the 16.-18. April 2009.
