Expobioenergia'09 will hold 9 technical sessions in collaboration with national and international entities

A wide program, full of useful information, will round off the technological fair. The technical sessions that will take place on the 21st , 22nd and 23rd of October will be added to the program of Expobioenergía’09 fair. All monographic sessions about bioenergy will be focused on many different topics and will consider the sector’s reality from several points of view, especially the ones aimed to professionals of different fields.

A session under the title Forestry biomass for energy in southern Europe : Real cases, organized by Cesefor and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Technical University of Madrid) in collaboration with the autonomous Government of Castilla y León will take place on the opening day of the fair. The program of the sessions will end on the 21 st of October with the session European Project: “Biogas Regions” promoted by the Regional Energy Organization of Castilla y León (EREN). The round of monographic conferences will end on the 23 rd of October, date in which the session Bioenergy in Urbanism and Architecture organized by Construible.es will be held.

Unstoppable international scope

Concerning the international scope of the fair, it is important to say that this year, it has been reinforced in several aspects. With regard to the exhibitor's area, the international sector will be represented by enterprises and brands from Germany , Austria , Colombia , Denmark , Slovakia , Spain , United States , Finland , France , Holland , Israel , Italy , Japan , Portugal , Czech Republic , Sweden and Switzerland . But apart from the attendance of exhibitors of different nationalities, the collaboration of international entities towards the fair has strengthened. More specifically, Expobioenergía’09 will hold 4 technical sessions about international topics with representatives from all over the world.

The Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) organizes an Informative Virtual Session about China (JIMEX) in the framework of Expobioenergía’09. On the same date (22 nd of October) is due to take place the Chilean Morning session, promoted by the Chilean company O’Ryan Surveyors. In the afternoon, the Trade Commission Madrid (AUSTRIANTRADE) will end the program of technical sessions with the Spanish & Austrian sessions under the name of Biomass technologies “made in Austria ” & reference projects in Spain .

In the international framework, the Spanish & Finnish sessions announced by AVEBIOM, Wenet and Josek, about Potential bioenergy businesses using forestry resources will be held on the 23 rd of October.

A new feature, the exhibitors’ participation

The new feature of the session program consists in the participation of some exhibitors in two sessions called Technical Presentations . These presentations will take place in the afternoon of 21 st and 23 rd of October. On the opening day, exhibitors will talk about technologies for biogas production while on the second day, they will focus in technologies for biomass exploitation. These sessions will count with the participation of the following enterprises: Ahidra, Fundación Patrimonio Natural, HARGASSNER IBÉRICA, HC Ingeniería, IMFYE, Kapelbi, MWM, REBI – Recursos de la Biomasa (Biomass resources), Soplacas and TAIM WESER.

Expobioenergía will provide new sections in www.expobioenergia.com , where information about technical sessions will be regularly updated depending on the specific updating of each of the programs. Inscription in the sessions for professional visitors of the fair’s web site will be done through the On-line application form.
